As we prepare for war, remember these things. We are all derive from our allies, from the countries that they are from. We have made a deal with these countries that we shall protect each other at all costs. Who knows, maybe some day we will need their assistance.
We can't let evil continue to rule the would, such as the group Black Hand who murdered the Archduke in front of thousands of his own people. Someday that could be us and our president falling at the hands of terrorism. It is our duty as the greatest country in the world to protect it with our lives, no matter what the outcome is. You all may have family in Great Britain, France, or Italy and we shall do anything that we can to help family and the lives of innocent civilians.

But if you are going to remember one thing from all that I have wrote, remember this. We are America, we are hated and loved at the same time because we are the greatest world power and we will not be defeated. We help others in need because that is the type of responsibility that we have when we are in a position like this. We didn't get this powerful by sitting back and going with the flow, we took command and we did what was needed to be done. Now is the time that something needs to be done, and we are going to do it.

This article is about the FDA approving drugs that are supposed to extend the lives of cancer patients. The thing is, these drugs have not been proven to do that. A 69 year old cancer patient conceded to trying the drugs for an experiment in hopes that the drugs would extend his life. This was not the case. Less than 4 months after starting on the drug he experience abdominal pains and was admitted into the hospital, he died later that day from internal gastrointestinal bleeding.

The drug that was made to lengthen this man's life might have hastened it. So this leaves the question, how does the FDA, an agency that is supposed to look out for our well-being, approve a drug that isn't proven to help us, and may actually hasten the lives of cancer patients? The muckraker in charge of this article John Fauber, read more about it at: http://www.jsonline.com/watchdog/watchdogreports/fda-approves-cancer-drugs-without-proof-theyre-extending-lives-b99348000z1-280437692.html

I believe that the rules of engagement are ridiculous. How do you expect these young men and women who fight for our freedom to remember all these ever changing rules? I think that is a pretty crappy way of showing appreciation for those who are willing to give their lives for a country and government that doesn't treat them fairly. I believe that in the heat of battle you shouldn't have to worry about these rules and you should be able to protect your country, along with yourself and teammates, anyway necessary. US soldiers should not be tried for their actions when protecting you. What kind of country are we if we treat our soldiers like that? We brought in a terrorist to testify against one of our soldiers for God's sake. Things like that make me wonder if this country may be too soft at times and I think that we need someone who will strengthen us.
As for the quote, I believe that citizenship is a duty. It is our duty to be good people and help each other as much as possible. If your are foreign and want to become a citizen of the US you should prove your worth. By that I mean past the tests, get a job, buy a house, contribute to the economy, do volunteer work for you community, and support the US in any way possible. As for people born citizens, we should all do our part in caring for this great country and for the veterans that are willing to give their lives to protect it. Voting is one of those duties that need to be done. It's simple and even if you don't think that your vote count, it does. You are given this powerful right to vote so why not do it? There a ton of people that don't have that option. Lastly, stop complaining over the little things in this country and getting offended over everything, this is life and if you don't think America is fair get out of here.

Bacha Bazi

I think that the U.S. Marines should be allowed to intervene when this foul play is going on, especially on U.S. Military Bases. I still can't comprehend why Afghan Police Officials are even allowed to bring the young boys on base, I thought it would be for military personal only. I don't see how a human being could allow themselves to be so sick and twisted, it makes my stomach hurt just thinking about it. I feel horrible for those who have to endure this abuse, small defenseless kids that do not know any better and they have been brainwashed into thinking that it is normal and that the U.S. Military troops actually condoned these activities; which they obviously don't. I'm sure that these Afghan PO's do it because it happened to them when they themselves were younger, but it's a new age in time now and I think if they want our help in driving out the Taliban they should respect our policies, especially on our bases. People who do these awful things should not be put in charge of villages and other communities because they are more feared than the Taliban by these civilians. If all else fails and we still have to help train the Afghan PO's, there should be definite repercussions for these actions and it should not be taken lightly for the sake of those innocent children.
